"Very average food. There is nothing to write home about this basic of chippies. I've been once, and that is the first and last. Since my visit, that was poor. PART 2. A massive change to the standard has appeared. I have had several small meals recently. The standard was brilliant, red hot, fresh. Great value for your dosh. I must admit it is the BEST BY FAR. Go and visit Pete's."

"Awesome food at great prices I fed a family of 5 including 2 Teens for less than £25. The Yorkshire fishcake was amazing the portions are what I would call old school a large portion of chips is really large but the quality of the food is excellent. The staff are really friendly and chatty I would highly recommend Pete's to anyone and I'm gutted we found this on our last day."

"This is a cash only shop, so be prepared. A lot of the local cash machines charge £1.99 for a withdrawal. Next task is to find Petes Chippy, tucked away in the Coastfield Holiday Village. When you find it, you’ll need to join the queue. It seems to be quite a popular spot. We ordered the standard fish, chips and curry sauce. The fish was light and chunky, the chips were the perfect mix of soft and crunchy and the gravy was thick. Portion size was spot off, if a little too much. Overall a great meal."

"Always great fish and chips from this Chippy. Whenever I’m down at Ingoldmells or Skegness we usually end up calling in for the Fish and Chip specials. At £5.50 each they are good value for money and include a pot of Curry, gravy or peas/beans. They call them “mini fish and chips” but this really is a disservice to the name as they are a generous size portion and enough for most kids and adults. The only thing to know about this chippy is they are cash only which is a bit of a pain since most cash machines in the area charge for withdrawals. Apart from that, it’s all good!"

"Quality and value. Great traditional fish and chips Great portion size and prices. Very nice chips and the fish was cooked perfectly. Gravy was thick and curry sauce was perfect. We will be back as I like my fish and chips and we are up Ingoldmells regularly for weekend breaks with the kids. I can highly recommend this chippy and it's worth a visit."
